I am a professor at Columbia University and am in the process of building this site to keep together my professional bio and describe activities as well as projects i am involved in. It will take a while to get things moved from other places so i hope people will be patient while i get it all assembled.
So far I have my profile description which appears under John C Mutter and my publications and some of my more recent commentaries and project descriptions.
I also blog for OECDInsights and will alert people to new entries. I also have electronic and print items in EARTH Magazine http://www.earthmagazine.org/ They mainly concern issues of natural disasters, climate change and the social issues that interact with them. There are also comments on other current issue topics.
Two projects that might be of interest are the Katrina deceased victims list http://katrinalist.columbia.edu/
and The Bamboo Bike Project http://www.bamboobike.org/Home.html which has an associated Facebook site. The latest on that project is described in a Media Release that describes the set up of a factory in Kumasi, Ghana.
These are described in detail in other sections of this site.

I am building up this sight bit by bit. Hope people find it a bit interesting. I have Facebook site too but this effort is meant to focus primarily on my professional life and the Facebook site has quite a few other things posted.
Getting there. Most of my stuff is now posted in various places on the site. Hope it all makes sense. I will try to keep it up to date.
I added two new papers submitted to journals yesterday and ia blog posted on OECD Insights
I think the site is pretty much complete now. Hope people find it and can make use of it.
